SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of encoding and decoding of audio data. Coded bit audio stream contains audio data and meta data container, wherein meta data container includes header, one or several payloads of meta data and protective data. Syntax analyser connected to audio decoder or integrated in it is designed to perform syntax analysis of encoded bit audio stream. Heading contains synchro-word, identifying beginning of meta data container, one or more meta data payloads describe audio program associated with data, protective data located after one or several meta data payloads, protective data can be used for checking integrity of meta data container and one or more of loads in meta data container.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency of processing audio data.
