FIELD: catalytic neutralizer.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a catalytic product for exhaust gas purification, an exhaust system, methods for improving the conversion of NH3 in exhaust gas at a temperature of about 300°C or lower and the exhaust gas purification method. The catalytic product contains a substrate having an inlet end and an outlet end; a first coating containing a mixture of (1) supported platinum and (2) a first SCR catalytic neutralizer; and a second coating comprising a second SCR catalytic neutralizer; moreover, the carrier contains at least one of zeolite or mixed oxide SiO2-Al2O3; moreover, SiO2 is present in an amount of from about 1 wt. % to about 70 wt. % mixed oxide, while the platinum is fixed on the carrier in a solution containing the first SCR catalytic neutralizer. The exhaust system comprises a catalytic product and means for introducing a reducing agent upstream of the catalytic product. Methods for improving the conversion of NH3 in the exhaust gas at a temperature of about 300° C or lower, which includes contacting an exhaust gas containing ammonia with a catalyst product. A method for purification of an exhaust gas containing ammonia and NOx, the method comprising contacting an exhaust gas containing ammonia with a catalyst product.
EFFECT: catalytic products of the present invention provide improved catalytic activity and selectivity.
