FIELD: powder metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method for producing a highly porous cellular catalyst material is described, which consists in applying a fine powder to a workpiece made of highly porous cellular material, which is subjected to forced movement in a gas flow throughout the cavity of the chamber in which the workpiece is placed, and the preform, made in the form of a ring, is impregnated with an adhesive composition and dried, iron-containing fine powder is obtained in a vortex layer apparatus (VLA), VLA and a fan with a capacity of 1500 - 2500 m3/hour are turned on for 25-35 seconds at the same time, creating a flow of fine aerosol, which is directed to the end face of the workpiece, VLA and the fan are turned off, the workpiece is turned over and the process is repeated sequentially for the other end of the workpiece, the used aerosol is cleaned from iron-containing particles.
EFFECT: simplification of technology, reduction of costs, increase in the efficiency of anaerobic processing of organic waste.
