METHOD FOR THE TREATMENT OF RESIDUAL LONG-EXISTING BURN WOUNDS Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A61M35/00 A61K35/76 A61L15/36 A61P17/02

Abstract RU 2790779 C1

FIELD: combustiology.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to treat bacterial wound infections of any localization in burn patients. The method of microbiological analysis reveals the microflora that colonizes the burn wound, selects a bacteriophage with a lytic activity of at least "++++" to the isolated bacterial pathogen. Two hydrogel plates are prepared corresponding to the size of the wound, the first is based on a film of polyvinyl alcohol with a content of acetyl groups of not more than 2%, 60 mcm thick, containing a phosphate buffer at a concentration of 3x10-5 mol/g with a pH of 6.6–7.8, by saturation for 1 minute with a bacteriophage at a rate of 0.1 ml/cm2, the second — based on a film of polyvinyl alcohol with a content of acetyl groups of not more than 2% 60 mcm thick by saturation for 1 minute with a sterile solution of succinic acid at a concentration of 0.26 mg/g at the rate of 0.1 ml/cm2, put the first hydrogel plate on the wound, apply a liquid aerosol dressing containing a siloxane polymer, chloroform, R-406 propellant, by spraying on the wound for 3 seconds from a distance of 10 cm and its drying for 1 minute, then the second hydrogel plate is laid, the wound is left covered for up to three days.

EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of treatment of residual long-existing burn wounds, ensuring a synergistic effect of stimulating angiogenesis in the area of a long-existing burn wound, including due to an antibacterial action that prevents inhibition of angiogenesis during a bacterial infectious process.
