FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: implant for osteosynthesis of chin fragments during genioplasty that has a base and two arms. The base and the arms are elongated links containing discs connected to each other with holes for mini-screws. The base has three holes forming a first row of holes. Each of the two arms has two holes. The holes of both arms form a second row of holes parallel to the first row. The arms are connected to the base by bridges, while the base, arms and bridges are configured as a single unit from a plate of sheet material that is capable of bending. All holes for placing disc fixing screws are made with double-sided chamfers.
EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of convenient fixation of the implant due to a tight fit to the surface of the bone tissue.
