SUBSTANCE: seed dispenser for an agricultural machine. The seed dispenser contains a frame, a seed distribution body and a compacting device (29). At the same time, the compacting device (29) is located behind the exit of the seed distribution body in the direction of movement of the seed dispenser during operation and contains an adjusting device (30) and a compacting body (33). The compacting body (33) contains a wheel rack (36) and a compacting wheel (330). The compacting body (33) is configured to act on the soil with a compacting force in at least one operating position of the adjusting device (30). At least one operating position of the adjusting device (30) is the unloading position, in which the adjusting device (30) acts on the compacting body (33) with an unloading force opposite to the weight of the compacting body (33). In this case, the adjusting device contains a control lever (35), the lower part of which is mounted on the rotary axle (42) of the wheel rack (36) of the compacting body (33). The upper part of the control lever (35) contains at least one pin configured to fit into at least one hole formed in the plate (32) rigidly mounted on the frame.
