FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the metallurgy of noble metals, and in particular to alloys based on noble metals, in particular, gold 22 carats fine, intended for use in jewelry production. Jewelry alloy contains, wt.%: Au - 75, Al - 21, at least one element selected from the group: Mo, Ni or Zn - 3, Rb - the rest. The method for obtaining a jewelry gold alloy includes weighing the elements and combining them, heating to a temperature of 2000°C, holding at this temperature until the complete melting of all elements, while the heating and complete melting time is selected depending on the total weight of the alloyed elements with a proportional increase by 78 s for each additional 10 g, while the heating time of 1 g of the alloyed elements is 300 s, cooling the resulting alloy at ambient temperature.
EFFECT: technical result achieved in the implementation of the invention is to increase the plasticity of the jewelry alloy while maintaining strength characteristics thereof.
