SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in steam generating systems and devices. The objective of the invention is to increase the stability of a steam generator. According to the proposed method for increasing the stability of the steam generator, the temperature of the working product is measured, and the bypass of a part of the working product from the steam generator beyond its output hydraulic resistance is controlled, taking into account the measured temperature of the working product. At the same time, the pressure Pmeas and temperature Tmeas are measured along the axis of the transition section from the liquid to the vapor phase, the value of this measured temperature Tmeas is compared with the saturation temperature Tsat at the measured pressure Pmeas along the axis of the transition section from the liquid to the vapor phase, if Tmeas>Tsat, then open the bypass of a part of the working product from the overheating section of the steam generator beyond the output hydraulic resistance, and when the measured temperature Tmeas is reached along the axis of the transition section from the liquid to the vapor phase, the saturation temperature or below Tmeas≤Tsat at the measured pressure Pmeas along the axis of the transition section from the liquid to the vapor phase, close the bypass of a part of the working product from the overheating section of the steam generator beyond the output hydraulic resistance.
