FIELD: microwave technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microwave technology and is intended for connecting the combined coaxial and circular waveguides used in the feeders of two-mirror antennas. The detachable connection of the combined coaxial and circular waveguides contains two coaxial conductive tubes of different diameters. The inner tube is both a round waveguide and a conductor of the coaxial waveguide, and the outer tube is the shield of the coaxial waveguide. At the place of detachable connection, the inner conductive tube is directly joined to the round waveguide, a cylinder is inserted into the coaxial waveguide with a bevel at an angle of 45°, and opposite to the bevel of the cylinder there is a window of a rectangular waveguide made in the outer conductive tube.
EFFECT: possibility of rigid fastening of the inner tube of the combined coaxial-circular waveguide, providing at the same time the possibility of waveguide detachable joint, as well as increasing the decoupling between signals in the coaxial and circular waveguides of the device.
