SUBSTANCE: unit for sowing seeds of agricultural crops on stony, low-fertile soils belongs to the field of agricultural engineering. The unit for sowing seeds contains a opener in the form of a perforated separating plowshare, mounted on a frame with a supporting wheel with the possibility of oscillatory movement, and a sowing machine. The latter includes a hopper with compartments for seeds and hydrogel balls, a seed dispenser driven by rotation from the support wheel and seed tubes. The dispenser is installed at the bottom of the hopper and is made in the form of a horizontal disk with hemispherical recesses, above which a horizontal shaft with two eccentrics is installed, interacting with the corresponding rods with return springs during the rotation of the horizontal shaft, one of which is made hollow for transferring seeds from the hopper and connecting them with hydrogel balls in the recesses of the disk, and the other is installed with the possibility of pushing the hydrogel balls filled with seeds into the seed tube of the sowing machine.

EFFECT: increase in the yield of agricultural crops due to the sowing of seeds with their preliminary introduction into hydrogel balls. To ensure the destruction of soil chunks and pushing it to the surface of the seed sowing zone, a cylindrical roller made of polymer material is additionally fixed on the frame.
