FIELD: corrosion protection.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system for electrochemical protection from corrosion of marine structures by an applied current method; it can be used for long-term protection of underwater marine structures. The modular system contains cells with threads, a balancing board, and cables between cells and the balancing board. The balancing board is connected to a circuit break between a protected structure and cells with threads, and it has a reinforced dielectric case. The balancing board for calculation of thread dissolution contains a controlling processor, a module for output current adjustment, and a module for measurement of input and output current parameters. The module for measurement of input and output current parameters is connected to the controlling processor, and modules for adjustment of output current of cells are connected to the controlling processor and the module for measurement of input and output current parameters. A number of cells is calculated in accordance with an area of the protected structure. Resource assessment is performed due to an effect of uniform distribution of a current load on each cell, created by the balancing board, and calculation of amount of electricity.
EFFECT: invention allows for adjustment and monitoring of protective current for assessment of a residual resource of a protector alloy.
