FIELD: medicine; otorhinolaryngology; infectology.
SUBSTANCE: method can be used to treat dysosmia caused by a coronavirus infection and includes several steps. At the first stage, external aeration of the skin in the eye area is performed, with the patient's eyelids closed, with an ozone/NO-containing gas mixture with an ozone concentration of 0.5 mg/l and a nitric oxide concentration of 0.1 mg/l. At the second stage, ozone/NO — or ozonide/NO-ultrasonic sanitation of the olfactory epithelium of the nasal mucosa, nasal and oropharyngeal mucosa is carried out. At the third stage, endonasal illumination of the olfactory region of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavities is performed for 20 seconds on each half of the nose with pulsed red spectrum laser radiation,λ =635 nm. At the fourth stage, an intravenous drip of an ozone/NO-containing saline solution with an ozone concentration of 1.5 mg/l and a nitric oxide concentration of 0.4 mg/l is carried out, and then sequentially in one session, a solution of an enzymatic antioxidant — superoxide dismutase Rexod 1.6 million U or antioxidant solution — 0.5% solution of Remaxol succinic acid. At the fifth stage, a thermal contrast effect is initiated on the patient's skin, followed by external aeration of the skin for 15 minutes with an ozone/NO-containing gas mixture with an ozone concentration of 3.0 mg/l and a nitric oxide concentration of 0.8 mg/l while simultaneously illuminating it with pulsed laser radiation of the red spectrumλ =635 nm. At the final stage, there is enteral intake before meals of 10% ozonide /NO-containing oil-in-water emulsion in a volume of 100 ml, as well as there is intake of succinic acid Forte — 1 tablet after meals, daily dose is 400 mg.
EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to increase the effectiveness of the treatment of dysosmia due to the relief of the inflammatory process and its consequences violating the protective functions of the cells of the olfactory epithelium.
