SUBSTANCE: used in the design of facades, false ceilings, partitions, fences, hatches and gates, in the construction of fences for flower beds, footpaths and beds of greenhouses for domestic and industrial purposes, outbuildings and building structures for various purposes. The metal board is made by profiling from cold-rolled metals, including those with coatings, and consists of two components: a base and an insert, each of the components being made of a U-profile containing a horizontal shelf and two legs with equilateral protrusions, and the protrusion on one leg is made by protruding outside the profile, and the protrusion on the other leg is made directed inside the profile so that the angles formed by the sides of each protrusion are from 70 to 120 degrees, while the profiles of the base and insert are made geometrically identical so that when assembling a metal board, the insert is congruently snapped into the base with an elastic interference and tight fit.

EFFECT: increasing the rigidity of the metal board, ensuring the dimensional stability of the structures, reduction of the complexity, both in the manufacture of the metal board and in the production of installation work, creating an elastic fit of the components of the metal board with a given profile geometry in the process of assembling the board itself, the possibility of producing a metal board with a length of up to 12000 mm in production conditions and without limiting the length at the customer’s site and with a width of 120 mm to 1200 mm on the profiling line with adjustable width from a strip of different widths when using the proposed metal board, the possibility of combining textures and colours covering the components of the board while ensuring the required appearance on both sides, simplification of the assembly work.
