FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to improve the strength (reinforcement) of the polymer bases of removable laminar dentures, which are used to replace the complete absence of teeth in the upper jaw. Removable plate denture with a reinforced base has a three-layer base and artificial teeth in its design. The first - inner and third - outer layers of the basis have a thickness of 0.5 mm and are made of polymethyl methacrylate. The second - the intermediate layer has a thickness of 1 mm and is a reinforcing mesh, congruent to the prosthetic bed, the mesh made of dental polymer and manufactured by 3D printing. The boundaries of the mesh are 5 mm away from the boundaries of the basis layer of the removable laminar prosthesis adjacent to the tissues of the prosthetic bed along the entire perimeter. There are mesh stoppers on the surface of the mesh facing the prosthetic bed. The stoppers are made in the form of truncated inverse cones 0.5 mm high with a base section of 2 mm and a truncated top of 1 mm. Stoppers are located along the perimeter of the mesh 2 mm away from the outer borders of the mesh, at a distance of 10 mm from each other and 5 mm away on the left and right from the median line of the hard palate. Over the entire surface of the mesh, there are perforations 2 mm in diameter between the stoppers and along the top of the alveolar process of the upper jaw. The three-layer base is mated with artificial teeth by means of a basis polymer.
EFFECT: production of a removable laminar denture with a base reinforced with a mesh fabricated as per economically available 3D printing technology from a structural polymer material selected according to its physical and mechanical characteristics, which, in terms of strength, can adequately withstand multidirectional static and cyclic functional loads of the dentoalveolar apparatus of a particular patient.
