FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to orthopedic dentistry, and can be used for making prostheses with complete absence of teeth. Disclosed is a method of making a removable denture, which comprises several steps. Optical impressions of the toothless jaw and antagonist teeth are obtained by intraoral scanning, cone-beam computed tomography and a virtual face image with a wide smile, comparing the obtained digital data in the virtual space of 3D modeling program and determining the interalveolar height from the anthropometric data of obtained 3D scene and teeth position relative to alveolar bone, simulating removable dental prosthesis with teeth and base, reducing marginal gum volume, namely gingival papillae, to level of cervical line by 2 mm, obtained 3D-model of removable denture is located in software of 3D-printer on platform so that supports are located along cutting and occlusal surfaces of teeth, printer is filled with a polymer for making artificial teeth crowns, corresponding to the color of teeth matched with the patient, and printing is started, printing is stopped forcibly, when a portion of the prosthesis is made containing teeth and reduced gingival papillae to a cervical line, the printer changes the polymer to pink in color corresponding to gum color, changing respectively the printing adjustment polymer and starting the printing until completion, the removable denture produced after printing is processed in ethyl alcohol with ultrasonic activation and illuminated with a photopolymerization furnace, then, the reduced papillae are restored and individualized with a pink plastic of light hardening, the prosthesis is polished and fixed to the patient.
EFFECT: invention provides manufacturing of a monolithic multi-colored complete removable denture by 3D printing.
