FIELD: electrical engineering; power electronics.
SUBSTANCE: invention and can be used in the construction, in particular, of aviation DC power supply systems, in which a synchronous generator with combined excitation and an active rectifier based on voltage inverter is used to reduce the weight and dimensions of the power supply system and improve quality of generated power. The DC power supply system contains a three-phase synchronous generator with excitation from permanent magnets on the rotor, to the outputs of which three AC inputs of an active voltage rectifier based on a voltage inverter operating with high-frequency pulse-width modulation are connected, to the output terminals of which a capacitor filter and a DC load are connected in parallel, an additional excitation system is introduced in the form of a winding on the generator stator and an excitation current control unit, the outputs of which are connected to the additional winding, and the inputs are connected to the output terminals of the active voltage rectifier.
EFFECT: reducing the weight of the synchronous generator and the capacitor filter in the DC link by reducing the amount of inactive power circulating between the synchronous generator and the active voltage rectifier, as well as between the capacitor filter and active rectifier.
