FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: compressor equipment with an electromagnetic motor that provides reciprocating action of the piston relative to the inductor. The compressor based on a linear motor contains a cylindrical housing, the internal cavity of which is divided by a piston into two working chambers. On the outer side of the housing there is an inductor consisting of annular electromagnetic coils. The role of the core is performed by a piston located inside the housing, consisting of ferromagnetic disks separated by non-magnetic gaskets. The principle of operation is based on the influence of the adjustable magnetic field of the inductor on the magnetic field of the piston. Changing the direction of the current in the inductor windings determines the direction of the reciprocating action of the magnetic piston from one end wall of the compressor to another. The moving frequency of the magnetic piston is controlled by an external control. The compressing force depends on the magnets used, the number and volume of windings, current strength and voltage.
EFFECT: simplification of the design, increasing reliability, and increasing the tightness of compressors.
