FIELD: chemical industry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the chemical industry, specifically to a method for the production of unsaturated carboxylic acid ether by an esterification reaction of unsaturated carboxylic acid and alcohol, using a reactor with filling of a solid catalyst. The method includes a stage of continuous supply of unsaturated carboxylic acid and alcohol from a reactor inlet to form in the reactor of a liquid reaction solution, where unsaturated carboxylic acid is selected from acrylic acid and methacrylic acid, and a stage of continuous supply to the reactor of a steam organic solvent from the inlet or part near the reactor inlet, in a parallel flow. In this case, part near the reactor inlet is ½ part, which is located closest to a side of a reactor inlet section, and the organic solvent is aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbon.

EFFECT: method for the production of unsaturated carboxylic acid ether with a high degree of conversion and low labor costs, in which, during an esterification reaction, a risk of clogging equipment with products of side polymerization of unsaturated carboxylic acid is reduced.
