SUBSTANCE: plant specimens are selected on the evaluated area of the field, the primary morpho-color parameters of the leaves are measured, and the state of the agroecosystem in the area is assessed. Healthy beet plants without damage, uniform in appearance, in an amount of at least three are selected. The morpho-color parameters of the leaves are obtained by photographing the latter with a smartphone camera, taking a picture of the second leaf of a beet plant of a known age condition. As primary morpho-color parameters, the area and the average value of the gray image of the second image in the order of their appearance in the rosette of a leaf of beet plants are taken. The synthetic indicator S and the corresponding dose of applied nitrogen are calculated according to the equation found earlier as a result of studies of the morpho-color parameters of the leaves of beet plants, of a given age state and grown under various doses of nitrogen, as N=-20.6*S-0.9*T+17.2*S*T-20.6, where nitrogen dose is N, kg/ha, synthetic index is S, sm2/rel. units for plants with different age conditions, T, days. The state of the agroecosystem in this area is characterized by the level of nitrogen. The found value, together with the leaf image files and the coordinates of the given section of the field in the global navigation satellite system, is stored in the cloud storage of agroecosystem bioindication data.

EFFECT: method provides increased reliability, accuracy, efficiency, reduced labor intensity and time of bioindication.
