FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the design and manufacture of compressors capable of compressing any type of gas, including aggressive and toxic gases, providing large differences in the volume of produced compressed gases. A two-rotor reciprocating compressor comprises a housing (1) in which two symmetrical three-blade rotors (2) and (3) with synchronizing gears (4) and (5) are installed, respectively. The centre lines of the blades (10) of each rotor (2) and (3) are located at an angle of 120°. The semi-profile of each of the blades (10) is circumscribed by a curve consisting of a convex part, passing into a concave part. Inside each blade (2) and (3) a reciprocating compressor is made, consisting of a cylinder (14), in which a piston (17) with compression rings and a rod (18) are installed.
EFFECT: increasing the degree of gas compression and reducing the complexity of compressor manufacture.
