SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for desulfurization of materials and/or residues containing lead sulphate. The process is carried out in one or more stages. In this case, only one desulfurization reagent is used, an amine compound, which is urea.
EFFECT: invention allows to use urea, which is characterized by a high level of stability, does not lead to potentially dangerous gas emissions during the critical stages of transportation and storage.
