FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: solid composition based on urea and ammonium sulphate in form of particles, the particles of which contain: (i) a core containing urea and ammonium sulphate, and (ii) an outer layer surrounding the core and in contact with it, containing from 95 to 99.9 wt. % of urea and a urease inhibitor of the phosphoric acid triamide type, wherein the urease inhibitor is N-(n-butyl) thiophosphoric triamide (nBTPT). Method of producing a solid composition based on urea and ammonium sulphate in form of particles includes the following steps: a) obtaining solid particles containing urea and ammonium sulphate; b) obtaining a liquid composition containing from 95 to 99.9 wt.% of urea; c) obtaining a urease inhibitor of the phosphoric acid triamide type, wherein the urease inhibitor is N-(n-butyl) thiophosphoric triamide (nBTPT); d) optionally mixing together the components obtained in steps b) and c); e) applying the liquid composition obtained in step b), followed by application of the urease inhibitor obtained in step c), on the particles obtained in step a), or applying the composition obtained in step d) on the particles obtained in step a); f) optionally applying an anti-caking and/or moisture-repellent and/or anti-dust agent on the particles obtained in step e), in particular, wherein the anti-caking and/or moisture-repellent and/or anti-dust agent contains at least a non-polar material, in particular a liquid organic material, and is present in the composition in amount of 0.0001 to 1.0 wt.%, preferably 0.02 to 0.5 wt.%, more preferably 0.1 to 0.2 wt.% with respect to the total weight of the composition .USe of a solid composition based on urea and ammonium sulphate in form of particles as a fertilizer, in particular for supporting the growth of agricultural products on soils with sulphur deficiency.
EFFECT: invention increases availability of sulphur and nitrogen for the root system of plants, as well as increases the stability of the urease inhibitor in compositions based on urea and ammonium sulphate.
