FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing solid fertiliser based on urea with ammonium sulphate. The method involves obtaining urea by reacting CO2 and NH3 in a urea synthesis reactor and a subsequent carbamate evaporator, obtaining ammonium sulphate by reacting H2SO4 and NH3 (free or in form of carbamate) in a reactor which comes next in the path of the stream after the carbamate evaporator. The product from the carbamate evaporator is fed into an ammonium sulphate synthesis reactor, into which H2SO4 and, if necessary, more NH3 are fed such that, the heat of reaction of formation of ammonium sulphate is completely used for concentrating the solution of urea with ammonium sulphate. Urea and ammonium sulphate are then mixed and solid particles of urea with ammonium sulphate are obtained.
EFFECT: obtaining solid fertiliser based on urea with ammonium sulphate with high output of urea in a urea synthesis reactor, with possibility of changing ammonium sulphate in it, as well as without significant reaction between urea and sulphuric acid.
