FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in chemical industry. A ring adsorber contains a cylindrical body 4 with an elliptic cover 7 and bottom 15. In the cover 7 there are mounted charging hole 9 and inspection window 8. The charging hole 9 is connected to a compensating hopper 10, and a union nipple 2 is attached in the bottom of the case 4 with fixed base 13 support 3 for external 5 and internal 6 perforated cylinders. Used adsorbent 12 is unloaded through an unloading gate 14. A union nipple 17 for desorption vapour and condensate discharge and for water delivery is located in the bottom 15. A bubbler flask is toroid-shaped along the full height of the perforated cylinders 5 and 6. A union nipple 11 for a safety valve is mounted in the top of the case 4. Adsorbent 12 is shaped as hollow spheres with a spiral groove by the spherical surface; as cylindrical rings with a spiral groove on the lateral surface; or as toroid rings.
EFFECT: higher gas flow purification efficiency from the end component due to higher contact area of adsorbent and the end component.
