FIELD: agricultural engineering.
SUBSTANCE: combined fodder pellet mill is proposed, consisting of a body, the cavity of which contains preparatory, compacting and working areas. The inner surface of all areas of the body is made in the form of alternating channels and ribs of rectangular cross section arranged in a spiral. Inside the housing, a screw passes for the length of all zones, with a smooth surface in the preparation zone. In the preparation zone coaxially to the auger there is a hollow grinding working body, made at the beginning in the form of a flattening drum with corrugations located spirally along its surface, and at the end of the flattening drum there is a spiral with knives fixed on its outer cylindrical surface. In the preparatory zone of the housing counter-cutting plates are installed.
EFFECT: pellet mill ensures the production of multicomponent pellets while reducing the specific energy consumption, metal consumption and reducing the number of required equipment.
