FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular, to fodder grinders. Grinder includes a knife drum fixed on a frame and a loading hopper coupled with it. Drum has a direct drive from an electric motor. Sieve and shear decks are installed inside the drum, a shear plate is installed on the loading hole. On the drive shaft of the drum there are fixed discs, on which there are screw knives and shafts having an additional drive for rotation around their own axis from the planetary gear. Pivotally suspended blades and rotating blades-stars are installed on shafts, during operation forming a cutting pair. Hinged knives can turn and retain their position relative to the shaft due to centrifugal forces. Knives-stars do not have the possibility of cranking and rotate together with the shaft. At the same time the cutting edges of the knives-stars pass with a gap past the counter-cutting edges of the hinged knives.
EFFECT: use of the invention will make it possible to reduce metal consumption and energy consumption, and the used grinding method will increase productivity.
