FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: method for insulating balconies or loggias, including upper and lower balcony slabs with an existing window system, is claimed. First, supports are mounted on the lower balcony slab, then additional window structures are installed on the supports close to the existing window system. Then the joints are sealed. At the same time, additional window structures are rigidly attached to the upper balcony slab and to the supports with the help of fixing elements. Pieces of a profile pipe of rectangular section fixed to the bottom plate are used as supports for additional window structures. Protruding structural elements of the existing window system are additionally insulated and covered with thermal insulation boxes.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of the structure and an increase in thermal insulation.
