FIELD: material grinding.

SUBSTANCE: devices for grinding various materials, used in production of construction materials, as well as in other industries. The centrifugal disc grinder contains cylindrical body 1 with pipes for loading 2 and unloading 3, counter-rotating upper 4 conical and lower 5 horizontal discs. On the upper surface of lower horizontal disc 5, from the center to the periphery, paddle spreader 7 and radial ribs 8 of rectangular cross section as well as vertical prismatic stops 9, located at their bases perpendicular to the working surface of radial ribs 8 with a radial pitch exceeding 2Dmax, where Dmax is the maximum particle size, are rigidly fixed. The height of radial ribs 8 evenly decreases from the center to the periphery with a decrease in the vertical gap between the upper surface of the lower horizontal disc 5 and the lower surface of the upper conical disc 4 from (1.2…1.5)Dmax up to (0.1…0.5)Dmax. The side face of each vertical prismatic stop 9 and the working surface of corresponding radial rib 8 in the direction of rotation of lower horizontal disc 5 form prismatic flow zone 11 with large base 12 towards the periphery. On the lower surface of upper conical disc 4, radial ribs 13 of rectangular cross section are rigidly fixed to provide a technological gap between the ends of radial ribs 8 of lower horizontal 5 and upper conical 4 discs. The width of smaller base 14 of prismatic flow zone 11 decreases from the centre to the periphery from Dmax to (0.1…0.5)Dmax and exceeds the height of the radial rib at the corresponding radius, and the height of each vertical prismatic limiter 9 is equal to the height of radial rib 8 in the area of their closest approach.
