METHOD FOR REDUCING THE RISK OF DEVELOPMENT OF POSTOPERATIVE RELAPSE OF LOWER LIMB VARICOSE VEINS IN C4-C6 CLINICAL CLASSES Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A61M5/00 A61K31/727 A61P7/02 A61P9/14

Abstract RU 2793061 C1

FIELD: vascular surgery.

SUBSTANCE: used to reduce the risk of postoperative relapse of lower limb varicose veins of clinical classes C4-C6. To do this, 24 hours after surgery, an ozonized sodium chloride solution is administered together with the Wessel Due F preparation. Ozonized 0.9% sodium chloride solution is injected every 24 hours for 10 days, 400 ml with an ozone concentration of 2500 µg/l. The Wessel Due F preparation is administered intramuscularly at 2 ml - 300 LRU/ml of solution every 24 hours for 15 days, then orally - 500 LRU/ml every 12 hours for 30 days.

EFFECT: increasing efficiency of surgical intervention by increasing the activity of the antioxidant system, minimizing oxidative stress and restoring the intracellular metabolic profile, which in turn will lead to a decrease in the class of chronic venous insufficiency and prevent the development of postoperative relapse of lower limb varicose veins.
