FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: generating a four-phase EMF system using a four-phase pulse generator. The number of pulses per period is assumed to be 12. The four-phase pulse generator consists of a control unit, a switching unit, a power supply unit. The control unit consists of a clock pulse generator (CPG), an AND element, a pulse counter, a comparison circuit, a register, a device start button, a decoder, and an input for setting the number of time intervals. The switching unit consists of four modules, each of which contains six controlled power switches, each of which contains two poles connected to the decoder poles. The power supply contains six sources of constant voltage, having the same value for all, connected in series and with a midpoint output between the third and fourth sources of constant voltage. In addition, the power supply contains six output poles and 0. These poles connect the power supply to the poles of the switching unit modules.
EFFECT: obtaining a sequence of pulses approximating a sinusoidal function.
