FIELD: photonics; electrical engineering; automation.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for converting the energy of powerful laser radiation into the energy of a periodic alternating current of a given frequency with a given frequency. The conversion of laser radiation energy into AC energy is carried out using three photoelectric converters that produce a constant voltage of the same voltage. With the help of a pulse switch and a polarity switch, these voltages are converted into a periodic sequence of pulses of a given frequency.
EFFECT: development of a generator of a periodic sequence of multipolar voltage pulses using constant voltages generated by photoelectric converters.
