FIELD: wind energy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates in particular to use of wind energy to generate electricity using horizontal axis wind turbines. A wind wheel with a knee bend of the blades consists of a main shaft, a wind turbine head and blades with two links: a short part with a fastening device and a long blade. Each blade consists of two parts: a short knee part with axial and sleeve sections and a long wing part. The short knee part, made of high-quality steel has a knee bend at an angle of 10-80° directed against the rotation of the wind turbine at a distance of 0.20–5 m from the root attachment through the head to the main shaft, at the junction of the axial and sleeve sections. The sleeve section of the short knee part has a cylindrical frame with three double support rings and is connected to the wing-shaped part of the blade through a hollow steel shaft with three protrusions with hinged devices. The shaft is attached to the frame of the wing-shaped part with tightening bolts. From the side of the joint with the axial section, on the inner corrugated side of the shaft, a semi-annular eccentric is installed, to which a hydraulic rotary mechanism is attached, fixed to the wall from the elongated side of the sleeve section, to rotate the winged blade along its axis. On the outer side of the cylindrical narrowing of the shaft there is a locking disc, made in one piece or from two halves and configured with the possibility of turning the end shaft, on which grooves are made for lubrication and movement along the axis. Fittings and tubular grooves for lubrication of the connection mechanisms are installed at the level of the joints of the support ledges.

EFFECT: increase of efficiency rate of wind energy, due to the special design of the wind wheel, to reduce the consumption of materials and the weight of the wind turbine.
