FIELD: electrical engineering; electric power industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related specifically to devices for compensating higher harmonics in electrical networks and power factor correction. The device can be used in power supply systems of industrial enterprises with a large number of non-linear loads that generate current and voltage harmonics. The research results show that the variation of the structure and parameters of the passive filter at the output of the active part in the form of an inverter can significantly expand the functionality of the filter-compensating device in terms of the set of corrected power quality indicators. This property is of particular relevance in conditions of combined power supply systems based on centralized and autonomous sources, where the level of power quality is constantly changing, which requires a filter compensating device with a flexible structure.
EFFECT: elimination of higher harmonics of the current and correction of the reactive components of the current of the non-linear load.
