METHOD OF REDUCTION OF DRAINAGE OF LIQUID PRODUCED ALONG WITH OIL Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC E21B47/10 E21B43/20

Abstract RU 2793536 C1

FIELD: oil industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to reduction of drainage of fluid produced along with oil. To implement the method of reducing the drainage of fluid produced along with oil, the optimal modes of operation of the wells are determined. To do this, a well-by-well dependence of the oil and water production on the bottomhole pressure in each well and the amount of water injection in neighbouring influencing injection wells are identified, followed by determining the optimal values of bottomhole pressure, injection and discharge for each well. After determining the optimal well operation modes, the target reduction in fluid production is set, which is used as the value of reduction in fluid production for a group of wells at a given point in time. The allowable current oil flow rate is set, which is taken as the oil flow rate for a given date, above which the wells are not suggested for shutdown. The potential of a well is determined by the oil production rate, which is taken as the difference between the optimal and current oil production rates. Fluid flow rate and water content obtained by averaging daily measurements for a month are used. The field indicators are sorted in the following order: water content - in descending order, in case of the same water content in terms of liquid flow rate - in ascending order, in case of equal liquid flow rates in terms of potential - in ascending order. Wells with oil flow rate and potential less than acceptable are stopped until the target value of fluid recovery reduction is reached.

EFFECT: reduction of oil production losses and less reduction of oil production potential.
