SUBSTANCE: system for detecting patterns and anomalies in the flow of events coming from the CPS or IS contains a memory and a hardware processor with the ability to implement a storage subsystem designed to store the configuration of event fields, the episode configuration, the system configuration, as well as to store and load the neurosemantic network into memory according to the configurations and the previous state of the neurosemantic network; connectors designed to receive data about events, generate an episode consisting of a sequence of events received before one of the conditions is met, and transfer the generated episodes to the event processor; as well as an event processor designed to process episodes using a neurosemantic network.

EFFECT: enabling the possibility of identifying recurring events and patterns and classifying new events and new patterns as anomalies in operation of the cyber-physical system (CPS) or information system (IS) in the flow of events from the CPS or IS.
