SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of industrial safety, more specifically, to methods for diagnosing and monitoring anomalies in a cyber-physical system. The technical result is achieved by means of a method for diagnosing and monitoring anomalies in a cyber-physical system (CPS), implemented on the hardware processor of a computer system and containing instructions, according whereto, information about the identified anomalies in the CPS is obtained, wherein said information includes a list of CPS parameters, including the process parameters of the CPS, and values thereof; classifying attributes are generated for the identified anomalies based on the collected information; the identified anomalies are classified into at least two classes, based on the generated classifying attributes; anomalies of each class are diagnosed by calculating the values of characteristics of each class of anomalies; anomalies of each class are monitored by the values of characteristics of each class.

EFFECT: ensured automation of diagnosing and monitoring anomalies in a CPS.
