SUBSTANCE: invention is related specifically to bending-type piezoactuators and is intended for use in electronics, controlled optics, micromechanics, medicine, mechanical engineering, in particular, in manufacturing of piezoelectric acoustic elements. Bending-type piezoelectric bimorph with initial longitudinal compression contains at least two interconnected piezoelectric layers with co-directional or opposite polarizations, internal and external electrodes with the possibility of connecting a control voltage to them. The piezoelectric bimorph also contains at least one piezoelectric compression section, consisting of a piezoelectric, at least single-layer, element and at least two electrodes with the possibility of connecting to them an auxiliary voltage, different from the main control voltage, to provide controlled longitudinal compression of the bimorph along the neutral axis or the middle surface of the rod or membrane type bimorph, respectively.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of the bending type piezoelectric bimorph.
