FIELD: training facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to modeling educational and training devices, namely interactive stands recreating the conditions of excavations, and can be used to demonstrate to students anatomical and morphological features and structure of skeletons of fossil animals and plants, cultural layer with archaeological monuments, geomorphological features, and improve practical skills of working with paleontological and archaeological objects, taking into account the stratigraphic correlation of geological sections. The interactive training stand includes a hollow structure whose walls are made of smart glass with variable transparency, making it possible to use it as a projection screen, an interactive display containing computer programs and databases, projectors made in the form of mobile devices equipped with special clamps with the function of fixing on various surfaces, mobile light sources also equipped with special clamps for fixing on various surfaces, the filler located inside the stand and made in the form of bulk material, the microparticles of which have an arbitrary shape, while natural rock or its imitation can be used as a filler, the microparticles of which are conditionally identical to natural rocks by their appearance, color, hardness and size, and in their totality are able to simulate various geological sections and cultural layers in which paleontological structures and archaeological objects are located arbitrarily or in a predetermined way: natural objects or their models, filled with filler in whole or in part.
EFFECT: use of the proposed technical solution will improve the efficiency and quality of training of specialists in the field of paleontology and archeology, will ensure the rapid and steady consolidation of students’ practical skills in conducting pre-excavation, excavation and post-excavation and other works, as well as in identifying and memorizing paleontological and archaeological objects, in accurate modeling of the burial of paleontological and archaeological objects and in visual visualization paleontological sites and archaeological sites, and will ensure proper monitoring and evaluation of professionally significant qualities of trainees.
