SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of thermal power engineering and can be used in hot water supply systems. The essence of the invention lies in the fact that the heating system of a building in the non-heating period is used as a low-potential heat source for a heat pump. At the same time, a hot water storage tank is installed in the system to equalize the daily unevenness of hot water consumption and a regenerative heat exchanger to return the heat of wastewater to the system. The system also provides for feeding the heating system circuit with hot water in the event of a decrease in the temperature in the circuit below an economically reasonable minimum.

EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of the hot water supply system with a simultaneous decrease in the installed capacity of the heat pump.
