FIELD: heat power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat engineering and can be used in hot water supply systems (hereinafter – HWS) of buildings. Method of connecting a low-potential heat source to a HWS system includes stages, at which cold water from a water pipe is supplied to a first stage heater, where it is heated by supplying a heat carrier from a heat network pipeline or by supplying heat from a low-potential energy source, wherein heat from low-potential energy source is pumped by heat pump into storage tank where heat carrier is heated to be pumped to first stage heater where it heats water for HWS while cooled heat carrier is fed back into storage tank and, then, into heat pump. Water heated in the first stage heater is supplied to the second stage heater, where it is heated with a heat carrier from the heat network, after which the cooled heat carrier is directed to the heat network pipeline, and the heated water is supplied for the needs of HWS, water in the building HWS system partially returns to the second stage heater, mixing with water from the first stage heater.
EFFECT: expansion of capabilities of individual heat points with systems of two-stage heating due to possibility of connection of energy-efficient low-potential heat sources, reduction of load on heat network, increase of economic efficiency.
