FIELD: medicine; gynecology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for diagnosing initial forms of external genital endometriosis (EGE). For this purpose, the content of survivin in the blood serum taken from the cubital vein on an empty stomach on days 5–7 of the menstrual cycle is determined, and when the content of survivin in the blood serum is 56.9 pg/ml and above, EGE is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method enables early diagnosis of EGE, prescribing appropriate therapy, as well as performing the required surgical intervention by determining the level of survivin in the peripheral blood on days 5–7 of the menstrual cycle.
