FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: vibration damper consists of a hub, of hub bearing, of a case, of inertia flyweight, and of at least one pair of flexible elements. Each flexible element is made as closed spiral with circular coils out of steel cable and has a toroid-like shape. The flexible elements in pair are arranged in mirror symmetry on both cross planes of the circular inertia weight and secured with their one side to the circular inertia weight, while with their opposite side they are attached to a corresponding flange of the damper.
EFFECT: increased responsiveness, efficiency, reliability and service life of damper operation.
