FIELD: mechanical engineering; vibration dampers of machines and instruments.
SUBSTANCE: proposed torsional vibration damper has shaft, disk fitted on shaft with holes arranged over circumference, planet pinions fixed on axles freely fitted in disk holes, fly weights in form of centrifugal pendulums installed on axles of planet pinions, coupling member stationary secured on shaft, and flexible member. Coupling member consists of two parts. Upper part has conical surface over entire diameter coming into engagement with bevel planet pinions. Axles of planet pinions are installed for longitudinal displacement owing to screws with springs supporting axles in holes of disk.
EFFECT: provision of effective damping of torsional vibrations in lower range of frequencies as compared with analog.
