FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to additives for reducing the hydrodynamic resistance of a fluid under conditions of developed flow turbulence when pumping drilling fluids in the process of drilling oil and gas wells. The emulsion drag reducing additive contains 3-7 wt.% acrylamide, 0.5-1 wt.% acrylic acid nitrile, 4-5 wt.% 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid, 4-6 wt.% anionic/nonionic surfactants with a hydrophilic-lipophilic balance (HLB) value of 4-7 units, 0.5-2 wt.% nonionic surfactant with an HLB value of 10-16 units. In addition, the additive contains 0.01-2 wt.% salts of fatty acids, 0.01-0.3 wt.% of a radical polymerization initiator, 27.5-54.7 wt.% non-polar liquid and 30.3-54.5 wt.% water.
EFFECT: reduction in the duration of time costs and a reduction in additional technological operations associated with the dissolution of the anti-turbulent polymer additive in the volume of drilling fluid or hydraulic fracturing fluid.
