METHOD FOR EXTRACTING GOLD FROM GOLD-BEARING RAW MATERIALS Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC C22B11/00 C22B11/06 C22B3/12 C22B3/24 C01G7/00

Abstract RU 2794160 C1

FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to extract gold from gold-bearing raw materials in heap, cuvette and vat leaching. The electrolysis of sodium chloride solution is carried out in a diaphragm cell to produce anode gases of chlorine and oxygen in the anode space, hydrogen gas and sodium hydroxide solution in the cathode space. Chlorine from the anode gases is dissolved to obtain chlorine water and oxygen purified from chlorine. Chlorine water is obtained by passing anode gases through a number of hermetically sealed tanks communicating at the bottom of the tanks, while the anode gases are fed into the first tank, water into the last tank. Acidified chlorine water is released from the first tank, and gaseous oxygen purified from chlorine is released from the last tank. Acidification of chlorine water is carried out by supplying hydrochloric acid to water supplied in the process of dissolving chlorine, after which it is fed into an array of gold-bearing raw materials. A productive gold-bearing solution is isolated, which, before being fed to sorption, is mixed with the sodium hydroxide solution obtained by electrolysis to remove heavy metal cations. Sorption of gold is carried out with a coal sorbent, which is ashed to obtain a gold-containing alloy. The hydrogen gas obtained by electrolysis and the purified oxygen gas obtained by dissolving chlorine are fed into the hydrogen-oxygen steam generator of the power plant that generates electricity for the own needs of the gold production technology.

EFFECT: increase of extraction of gold while ensuring the environmental safety of the process.
