FIELD: bearing assemblies.

SUBSTANCE: diagnosing the condition of bearing assemblies. A system, device and method for determining the state of at least one bearing in the system. The method includes receiving operational data associated with the system from one or more readers associated with the system. An operating profile of at least one bearing is determined based on operating data, the operating profile including at least one of a vibration response, a thermal response, and a frequency response associated with at least one bearing. An impact force profile during operation of at least one bearing is determined based on the operating profile and a virtual bearing model trained on operating and impact force profiles associated with a group of bearings comparable to at least one bearing. The condition of at least one bearing is determined based on the impact force profile.

EFFECT: improving the determination of the state of the bearing in the system.
