FIELD: measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and can be used for prediction of remaining useful service life of bearing. Mechanism is provided for prediction of remaining useful service life of bearing of electric azimuth thruster in nacelle. Method is implemented by the controller. Proposed method comprises the stage whereat operating conditions of bearing are obtained. Proposed method comprises the step of predicting remaining useful life of bearing using operating conditions. Service life of the bearing is divided into three separate phases. Remaining useful service life of the bearing is predicted in different ways on three separate phases.
EFFECT: technical result consists in providing effective and accurate prediction of remaining useful service life of bearing.
