FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method for simulating finishing of ball bearing parts, in which, during the technological process of assembling a ball bearing, the required number of working balls are poured between its rings, but the separator is not installed, and the same number of tool balls are poured between the working balls, the height of micro-roughnesses (undulation) of the surface of which is 2-3 times higher. Working and tool balls alternate with each other. The ball bearing is filled with lubricant specified in the regulatory documentation for its given standard size.
EFFECT: finishing is achieved without the use of free abrasive.
