FIELD: remaining service life determination.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for determining the remaining service life of a process device (1) through which fluid flows and which is a heat exchanger, column or tank for phase separation. The computing unit (20) is installed on the device (1) and is connected with the possibility of data transmission to a remote computing unit. The measured temperature values are determined using a plurality of sensors (10) located in or on the device (1). The mechanical stress is determined by means of a computing unit (20), and the mechanical stress and/or the measured temperature values are transmitted to the remote computing unit (30) and the remaining service life is determined there, or the measured temperature values are transmitted to the remote computing unit (30) and there the mechanical stress and residual life.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to draw a conclusion about the service life with the highest possible accuracy.
