FIELD: wireless communications.
SUBSTANCE: receiving configuration information at the radio resource control (RRC) layer containing an indicator of whether the hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ-ACK) acknowledgment feedback should use the combined working HARQ-ACK data or separate working HARQ-ACK data. One or more first downlink control information (DCI) transmissions associated with a first control resource set identifier (CORESET) are received. One or more DCI transmissions associated with the second CORESET identifier are received, and when the RRC configuration information indicates that the HARQ-ACK feedback uses the combined HARQ-ACK working data, the combined HARQ-ACK working data is transmitted based on the combined HARQ -ACK of the encoding table used to generate the HARQ-ACK feedback associated with the first CORESET identifier and the second CORESET identifier.
EFFECT: increase in the throughput and reliability of wireless networks.
